The Need
Located in the heart of Westchester County, we leverage our community partnerships to help those in low-income or homeless situations in our very own neighborhoods. With one of the most drastic poverty gaps in the nation, Westchester is perfectly situated to headquarter Bundles of Joy. As a place of extreme haves and have-nots, Westchester is the ideal location to engage communities that have with communities that need.

The Mission
We give parents and children from birth to 12 years old the essentials they need to thrive. Parenthood is hard enough, and we want all parents to have the resources they need to feel prepared. We supply items free of charge through generous donations from our community constituents. By providing children and their parents with the tools necessary to thrive, we are building confidence that lasts a lifetime.

The Model
Bundles of Joy collects new and “nearly new” items through grassroots community drives and corporate donations. Donations are then sorted, bundled and delivered to disadvantaged children through our network of social service agencies, shelters, hospitals and school partners.
Our Impact
Our mission has never changed: we will always locate and serve New York’s most vulnerable, providing them with the essentials they need to thrive. Since 2017, we have steadily grown to not only serve mothers and babies, but also children and teens, as well. Bundles of Joy served over 27,000 children in need in 2023, making us Westchester’s leading not-for-profit in this space. Our impact is not limited to Westchester, as we serve all the 5 boroughs, and beyond Westchester.
Reaching school aged children called for a unique model. We create a safe space for kids to hand pick their own toiletries, hygiene items, clothing and school supplies.
We currently have locations in Mt Vernon and Mt Kisco.
Our support means that parents aren’t faced with impossible choices. No mother should ever have to choose between diapering and feeding her baby.
